Cooking with Wild Orange and Cinnamon Essential Oils

I love getting creative with cooking with my essential oils.* Especially because it brightens the flavor of most dishes. For Thanksgiving I made two yummy recipes you can make now. These recipes do not contain any dairy or sugar and they are full of flavor. if you do not have the oils I used you can substitute cinnamon powder and orange zest. I explain in my video how much to replace if you don't use the essential oils.

Cranberry sauce: Add 12oz bag of cranberries, 1/4 cup of pure maple syrup and 3/4 cup of water to a sauce pan, bring to a boil and simmer for 15 min until you see the berries starting to burst. If you like them more broken down then just use a masher. After you've removed the cranberry sauce from the heat and it cools down, add only 1 drop of doTERRA Wild Orange Essential Oil (or 1 tsp of orange zest). If you prefer it sweeter, add a little more maple syrup. If you want a brighter orange taste then add one more drop of Wild Orange Essential Oil.

*If you do use the essential oils in your food, please do not assume that it is okay to use just any brand of essential oil. The doTERRA Essential Oils used in these recipes are approved for ingestion.
