Take time to notice what is around you

I love the beach, the warmth of the sun and the sounds of the ocean waves crashing. But living in Pennsylvania I can honestly say that I really enjoy the colors of the fall season. This particular fall day (sunny, cool, light breeze) I decided to drive to the park in the middle of running my errands. I took my shoes off, stood in the grass with bare feet and just absorbed the grounding of the earth. As I took in the view of the lake. I immediately felt so peaceful. I laid on the ground, looked up at the sky and I noticed how pretty and blue it was. As I lay in the grass, I let my body melt and relax. I remember thinking I need to do this more often.

When I'm not grounding with the earth, I like to use Balance doTERRA's grounding blend, essential oil on the bottoms of my feet. The warm, woody aroma of Balance reminds me of being outside and enjoying nature. I notice that Balance creates a sense of calm and wellbeing. Who wouldn't want to begin their day by putting Balance on the bottom of their feet to promote feelings of calmness and tranquility throughout the day right?

Today no matter the weather, lay on the ground. Close your eyes. Listen to the sounds around you. Smell the fragrances surrounding you. Notice how it makes you feel. Who are you thinking about? Who are you grateful for? What are you grateful for? Maybe even set some intentions for the remainder of your day. I promise you that it will feel so good.
