When I first learned about doTERRA essential oils I had no idea how much they were going to elevate my athletic performance. For rest and recovery, essential oils are known for their soothing and calming effect. Prior to using essential oils, my pre-race sleeps consisted of barely any sleep. Then when I started using essential oils, I would sleep so much better before my races.
For nutrition, citrus oils are great for natural detox and also work as natural appetite suppressors. I especially like lemon in my daily drinking water.
Sometimes when I'm running, I would get short of breath. Using the respiratory blend aromatically for easier breathing made such a difference!!!
For post-recovery care, essential oils soothe muscles, tendons, joints, and blisters and promotes the circulatory system for blood flow in those deprived toes and fingers.
