If you've ever had a cough that just wouldn't quit-day after day, week after week--then you know how annoying it can be. I finally found the magic bullet to kick the cough to the curb and get a peaceful night's sleep so my Serenity oil could do it's thing.
A few weeks ago I got sick (which rarely happens), but it happens. Oh well! That's okay I've got my oils. I did all the right things and I got better. I felt great, I was working out and I had normal energy levels. BUT the darn cough wouldn't go away. Day by day I started coughing more frequently (again I was feeling good) but I started to have this congestion.
After about a week, I had about lost it. DONE! I'M DONE! It was over the holidays and my doctor's office was closed. The only thing urgent care was going to do is give me something to "try" and hope it helps. And you know how much I love to go to the doctors right? 😂🤣 No but seriously I was tired of sleeping upright because the congestion/mucous wouldn't loosen (and I did all the things and used all the oils I would normally have my clients do). I looked up a protocol for whooping cough and discovered these oils to create a cough expectant and clear it out.
It worked like a charm!
Before bed, I layered a drop each of Fractionated Coconut Oil, Breathe, Rosemary and Myrrh on my chest.
In a capsule, I added two drops each of Sandalwood, OnGuard, Frankincense and Myrrh.
I stopped coughing AND I slept so soundly. I woke up in the morning to the mucous loosened and cleared out. I repeated this protocol throughout the next day and for another day.
If you do this at night, I suggest giving yourself two hours before going to bed so that you can clear some mucous out before you lie your head down. Repeat topically and in capsule form the next day 3-4 times throughout the day. Continue to repeat as needed for another day or two until you feel it's all out.
